Rules of The Road

We have made some changes to our regular protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic to keep both our clients’ and staff’s safety in mind.

We do not provide emergency/same day services (other than Last Wishes Service)
We will comply with the 6 ft distancing requirement.
We do not require masks, but we do ask that you inform us if anyone in your household has recently tested positive for Covid-19. This will not prevent us from coming, but it will allow us to wear our own masks.
We are back to indoor appointments, but can accommodate back porch, garage, or outdoor appointments upon request.

Allows pet owner and Dr. Croom to decide what is needed for your Home Visit.
Is considered an Annual Visit, which provides three months of prescription access from Dr. Croom’s online pharmacy.
We use Google Meet for all of our virtual appointments which means you don’t have to download anything. You will receive a specific link from us once you are scheduled.
Video visits are 20 minutes per pet, and you get Dr. Croom and her Team’s full attention and guidance.
If you do not have access to a web-camera enabled device, we can do virtual appointments via phone as well.

Following the Video Visit, we will schedule a date and time (range) that works for you.
You will be invoiced separately for the Home Visit (housecall fee + cost of services selected)
Home visits are offered Wednesday-Friday, often the same week as your video appointment.
For all clients there is an additional fee based on distance from Portage.
We do provide vaccinations, heartworm and Lyme testing (immediate results), new puppy and kitten exams, and chiropractic.
For cats, all we ask is for a secure location that is secured and blocked off from fleeing the appointment.
If your pet is comfortable and can be secure in a hybrid space like a porch or garage, we can accommodate that as well.
